Poster presentations will play a key role in the success of the 2022 International Firefly Symposium. Posters selected from abstract submissions will be displayed on poster boards along the rear perimeter of the general session meeting room for the duration of the symposium. Much time will be available for viewing posters so that attendees can interact and share details of their work, discuss techniques and experiences, and acquire a broader perspective about the fireflies they study. 

Posters will be limited to a board display space that is 80 cm x 100 cm. 

    Each poster will be assigned a number in advance so that you will know where to place your poster.   

• Poster boards will be freestanding. 

• Posters must be presented using the poster boards provided by the conference. The poster boards are contiguous, and presenters may not use their own self-contained displays. Due to space constrictions, no tables or electricity will be provided.

Wednesda, June 15th, 10:00  – 17:00 

Boards may be set-up upon arrival any time after this, but no later than Wednesday, June 17th

REMOVAL:

Friday, June 17th from 14:00-15:00** 



** Poster display boards will be promptly dismantled and removed by the vendor on Friday afternoon, so please remove your poster during the assigned time slot. The conference organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged posters removed by the display board vendor. Posters left behind will be discarded.

POSTER SHIPPING INFORMATION: The symposium host, Parque Biológico de Gaia, is pleased to offer poster presenters complimentary receiving and storage of materials shipped to the symposium in advance.
